Join the 14th Annual Fight Stroke Walk!
Stroke remains the #1 leading cause of disability in the U.S., with rates rising in Santa Clara County. Less than half of stroke victims reach the ER in time for life-saving treatment, making our mission more critical than ever.
The Fight Stroke Walk is a 5K (3-mile) event uniting stroke survivors, their families, friends, and caregivers to raise essential funds for public education and awareness. Walk with us to:
- Celebrate the courage of stroke survivors and their families.
- Remember those we've lost.
- Raise awareness on stroke prevention and recognition to ensure timely treatment, improving outcomes and saving lives.
Your Support Makes a Difference! In 2024, your generosity helped us:
- Reach 10 million impressions with a multilingual outreach campaign in Spanish, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
- Engage 2,480 participants in community workshops on stroke prevention and recognition.
- Welcome 110,000 visitors to our website, offering resources in 8 languages.
- Grow our Lifesaving Stroke Awareness Foundation App user base to 16,420, providing vital tools to recognize and respond to stroke emergencies.
- Reach 350,000 Facebook users and grow to over 12,400 Facebook followers, amplifying our message across the community.
Thank you for your support and help raising stroke awareness in our community. Together, we save lives and improve the quality of life right here in Santa Clara County.
